Christmas Day

Spent Xmas with the Sharams and a few of their friends. Jacqui cooked a great meal and I sort of sous “cheffed”. There was lots of people around and the afternoon Christmas meal was great. This, added to the previous night’s meal at the neighbour’s place turned into a continuous eating and drinking frenzy. Oh, but wait! There is boxing day as well!

Boxing Day

Dave and I went to play golf with a couple of his mates and thinking that it would be good to get some exercise turned into cart golf. Just great to get on the links again. 3 over after 9 and then reality set in. Haven’t played, haven’t practiced, no golf shoes for support and using a rental set from the golf course. I’ll just keep that front nine in the front of my mind. 🙂

After golf we had to zip back to the house, shower, pack up and head down to the marina to pick up Mike and Helen from Nika. They had just arrived in Pittwater and thought it would be good to go to the Newport Arms for dinner and drinks. That ended about 1am back on MAD for a nightcap. All in all a great evening and some idiot forgot to take everyones picture.

Next day we followed Nika around the corner to Refuge Cove so that we could have a quick exit in the morning to get to Manly Cove in Sydney Harbour.
