Fraser Island Adventures

Spent a little bit of time around Fraser Island before heading to Urangan for some provisions. Over to Bundaberg for an overnight staging area before heading to Lady Musgrave Island in the morning. Caught a nice Bigeye Tuna on the way to Bundaberg.

Had the dolphins swimming with the boat on the way to Lady Musgrave, beautiful clear waters for our 2 days there.

Watched the HMNZS Canterbury doing some maneuvers in Hervey Bay. Saw some whales breaching, but a long way off. A great sail over to Pancake Creek. (7.5 knots with only 12 knots of wind) She really likes it on the beam. AND… a near miss on a fishing vessel … whew!!

Just a few pictures of our time…

Awesome photos. It’s definitely not like that here. We almost have a finished shed and a tank, not connected though!

Wow, that was a serious vessel (Canterbury). By the way, the last picture in your slide show; are those snakes or the rock colours?
